About the Editors Vijay S. Jodha did his Masters from Department of Culture and Communication at New York University and studied filmmaking at NYU's Tisch school of Arts as well as at School of Visual Arts, New York. He has worked on film projects for a variety of clients in India and overseas including PBS, the Smithsonian, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Doordarshan and a variety of non-profit and corporate organizations. As a writer and researcher, he helped set up India's first international artists and writer's retreat. His earlier collaboration with Samar produced the critically acclaimed Ageless Mind and Spirit book. An exhibition from this photo project was shown in different parts of India and is currently on an overseas tour. Samar S. Jodha's images have appeared in leading Indian and foreign publications as well as in prominent exhibitions. His book projects include the award winning Jaipur: The Last Destination. His work can also be seen in Costumes and Textiles of Royal India published by Christie's U.K. and in the recent Dubai: 24 Hours. Samar has been involved with numerous social communication projects for Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the BBC World Service Trust, United Nations and several grassroots level organizations. Parallel to editorial and social communication projects, Samar works as an advertising and corporate photographer in South Asia, the Middle East and the U.S. |
